Nature strolls for all…

The local Footprint Trust charity is keen that everyone can get out and enjoy their local environment. They have arranged two free gentle summer strolls for families, suitable for people with mobility restrictions including those who use wheelchairs or pushchairs.

Run by trained walk leaders from The Footprint Trust, and supported by grant funding from the East Wight Landscape Partnership, they will be held in the East Wight area during July and August. The walks will take in places of interest such as, Sandown Community Orchard and the River Medina.

They will take people out into the beautiful Isle of Wight landscape, along routes which are accessible for all.

The Trust are also producing maps of six local strolls, which will be put on their website in the near future footprint-trust.co.uk and will also be given to local libraries.
