Home Visits

Public Health Restrictions to movement have affected our service.

The Trust’s General Manager, Ray Harrington-Vail said;
“It is important that we look out for vulnerable people in our community, and take precautions not to introduce infection, for this reason we are ceasing home energy visits at this time.”

We are however offering guidance by phone so call 01983 822282 or email and leave your details.  If there is a specific concern please give a brief description. We will call you back when we are able to do so.

Insulation & Heating Systems

An insulated home is a warm home. Carrying this out could save the average Isle of Wight household around  £300 pa in energy costs. Free or subsidised  insulation  is available for most households. Grant funded boilers and heating systems are sometimes available.

Government schemes that homeowners and landlords could apply to in order to help fund the cost of energy efficiency improvements are currently ongoing in England. It’s thought that these energy efficient and low-carbon heating improvements could help households save up to £600 a year on energy bills.
